The tweak I shall been giving here today shall help all those who have a
weak 3g / 3.75 connection in their locality, and this trick will be extremey
usefull to those who are having problems using 3g modem on their qsat
(that is when ever you use a modem on your qsat, it displays No dongle
device found), it wll be used for those who want to browse on their
computer in an area where there is poor 3g coverage, most importantly it
will help fix the issue of tv1 / any other cccam providers banning your
account too quickly owing to double login or reshare.
DETAILED EXPLANATIONS ON THE DYNAMICS OF CCCAM VS 3G USB MODEM
If care is not taking, the best way to loose your integrity or credibility online
is by selling a cccam account carelessly. Many thanks to my strict policies,
terms and conditions. One thing i will never do is that, i will never take the
precarious situation of cccam account to cheat on any customer. Okay for
example, how can you explain the followings, you bought 30pieces of tv1
cccam(am mentioning tv1 because it is the only cccam account that
currently opens all dst* channels) and just three were banned permanently?
The questions is, what have the three people banned done wrong?, what
have the 27 people done right?. Now, the 27 are not immune to banning, but
its most likely they are not stepping on tv1′s toe whatsoever. the three
people banned has similar problems in common, changing of sim cards or
using of modem and connecting intermittently. To simplify the whole thing,
a typical cccam runner will ban you, once they discover that your account is
detected with two or more ip addresses too often. This is a big challenge
with all those who use a 3g modem especially if you disconnect your
connection on your decoder too often.Now disconnection can take two
form, but the result is simply the same(1. if you disconnect intentionally
every now and again, 2. if you are disconnected automatically, unknowingly
by your internet service providers as a result of unstable 3g network in your
area. Note: all ISP always changes your ip after every disconnection. If you
doubt me, browse with your 3g modem on your computer, visit

revisit the site and you will notice that at least the two last digits of your ip
address must have changed. If this happens too often, and you are using
your 3g usb internet modem in your decoder to watch your cccam account,
there is every propensity that your account will be suspended for double
login or reshare as their system will think you are resharing their your
account due to the multiple ip addresses detected. I sarted using my own
personal cccam account for almost three months with wifi and with glo
nigeria and no problems so far. In fact am using my bb z10 as my wifi
hotspot. The point remains that i don’t disconnect my cccam account
arbitrarily even though i know i will not be banned because the ip change by
ISP doesn’t affect lan internet and wifi. In similar, vein, i have many clients
that i personally install the cccam for using a 3g ,modem and their account
is still intact. The tweak i use to secure the cccam accounts of my personal
clients even with a 3g modem also works for qsat and your computer if you
are using an unstable 3g network as explained below:
REQUIREMENTS TO THIS TWEAK
You must have at least 30 tp 40% 3g / 3.75g or 4g signal strength in your
area( to check this, insert the sim you want to use into a phone and monitor
the network coverage bars; If yours is seven bars, you should have at least
three bars and if your phone has five network bars, you should have at
least two bars. Use this trick with one bar or no bars at your own risk. I
support only two to three network bars)
You must have a 3g usb modem( i recommend huawei for those who are
buying it new)
You must have an internet enabled sim card with reasonable data bundle
You must have access to a computer of any kind be it desktop or laptop,
infact you can use your friend’s computer. the process takes less than 20
minutes.
Make sure the little 3g you are having is actually active. In other words,
make sure you can browse the internet with your inadequate 3g network
connection make sure you test this on your phone or pc before attempting
to use this with your decoder.
Note: For G6 users trying to use their 3g to power their cccam, please
always make sure you use Manual settings under the 3g network setup,
Please don’t use Automatic.
HOW TO PERFORM THE TASK
If your phone or usb modem supports 2g and 3g network, your device will
automatically select the strongest network by default. Meaning if your 3g is
stronger than your 2g, then you will have little problem as your device will
always be on 3g whether you like it or not. But if your 3g is too weak, then
yor device will auto-select 2g.However, if your 3g is a bit strong but not
strong enough, your device will be auto switching between 3g and 2g(Auto
switching is the most dangerous as it will disconnect your connection in the
background and auto connect too) Now the implications of the above-
mentioned are as follows; 1. If your 3g is very very strong, you are better
off, as long as your ISP doesn’t experience downtime too often if you use
such modem with qsat in 3g mode, qsat will detect and work firne with your
3g modem. 2. If your 3g modem is too weak, or unavailable, your modem
will try and work in 2g mode, this will slow down your connection and
service will be disrupted and disconnect which may lead to suspension of
your cccam account because 2g is not ideal for cccam accounts. In fact if
you select 3g mode in qsat and your modem is having too weak 3g
network, qsat will display No Dongle device found, the reason being that,
you cannot use 2g modem in 3g mode on qsat. 3. this is the most
frustrating or it is on erratic connection thsi leads to faster suspension of a
cccam account than the two previously mentioned and on qsat and on your
computer,it will lead to freezing channels and frustrating internet browsing
experience respectively. As for me i always play safe, i always set my
modem to 3g / Umts / HSPA / WCDMA Only and on my phones, except i want
to download, i always set my connection to 2g only. The task is to force 3g
network only on your 3g usb modem before using it with your decoder to
watch cccam account or before using it in 3g mode on qsat to do this, study
the following 3g mode on qsat ng picture;
FOR HUAWEI 3G MODEMS
connect your huawei modem to a computer, you don’t need internet
connection to perform this, but you need to insert an active sim into your
modem. Now navigate to Tools>>Options>>Network>>Change Network
type to>>WCDMA Only>>then save and exit meaning click OK
FOR ZTE MODEM USERS:
To do this on zte is even easier, all you need to do is to click on
Settings>>Preferences>.UMTS/HSPA only.
PERSONAL RECOMMENDATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS
Please avoid indiscriminate disconnection of your cccam account as much
as you can, be it intentionally or unintentionally to do this i have expalined
in details above. If you have the money and you want to use a cccam
account on your decoders, please buy a router or use wifi connection. If
you must use a 3g modem, you must play safe by following all the
instructions above to the last letter. Finally please if you are not
downloading on your phone, please always choose 2g network and if you
want a faster browsing experience on your computer, always force 3g on
your modem. comments are welcome as usual. Note the followings: i. Airtel
changes ip addresses more often than other ISP in Nigeria so you are
advised to use Etisalat>>Glo>>Mtn before thinking of airtel when you are
selecting a sim card to be used for cccam, ii. Tv1 only gives two reasons for
terminating accounts and they are double login or reshare. They also
warning against using some highly advanced and tempting decoders by
users such decoders are t-link, dreambox, zorro-box e.t.c.. those decoders
can actually share account effectively bu you can as well use them without
sharing accounts with them. Our own part is to prevent tv1 or similar cccam
providers from banning our accounts. iii. As much as it is very possible to
use your gprs( i mean your normal sim card) to power a cccam account
inside qsat, i will adice against you using sim with cccam on qsat.
