Abuja - Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, said
indiscipline within the party cost its leader Goodluck
Jonathan in the recent presidential elections.
He has thus established a committee to examine the
performance and conduct of the People’s Democratic
Party (PDP) leaders during the just-concluded Presidential,
National and State Assembly Elections.
State Deputy Governor Gboribiogha, John Jonah, heads the
committee.
He has a two-week period to submit an interim report to
the government.
Dickson said the committee is also expected to determine
and recommend steps to be taken against those, who
worked contrary to the party’s interests during the
general elections.
The governor warned serious consequences awaited any
member of the party who engaged in anti party activities
during the election.
