A woman in Scotland has been walking around with a five inch sex toy inside her for ten years without realising, according to a report.
The 38 year old woman had eventually gone to hospital complaining of shaking, weight loss and lethargy, as well has experiencing mild incontinence for a few weeks according to the Daily Mail.
On further inspection, doctors found a foreign object poking her bladder from her vagina - the five inch sex toy.
This caused her to suffer a life-threatening 'vesicovaginal fistula', which left urine leaking into her vagina, and an obstructive uropathy, which causes urine to run back up to the kidneys.
The doctors were further shocked when they found out that the woman had used the toy with her partner ten years ago, which is apparently when she saw it last.
While this isn't the longest time an object has been lost in a woman's vagina, apparently there was a woman who'd had a foreign object lodged in her vagina for 35 years, it is highly unusual due to the mass of nerve endings in that region.
